Job description
IBM is seeking a junior software test engineer who contributes significantly to the creation of test cases, test implementation and defect resolution of IBM payments software products. The candidate may require working directly with customers and support teams to resolve customer issues. Reporting to the Test Team Lead / QA Manager and working with a team of global test engineers, the test engineer will be responsible for definition, creation, maintenance and execution of test plans, test cases, test scripts and associated data. Additionally, you would be required to work closely with development teams on resolution of issues.
Responsibilities :
Review Requirement documentation and technical specifications.
Test definition and design.
Test and validate proper software behaviour.
Defect reporting, working with development team on resolution of issues.
Frequently interface with team members and other programming teams.
Act as a consultant on technical issues.
This is for 12 month fixed term role.
