In this role, the candidate will work on the functional and system testing of next generation IBM Data warehouse (based on Netezza Technology) and Big Data related products. The candidate will be responsible for working on highly challenging areas such as Structured Query Language (SQL) /Optimizer engines, operating systems internals, high availability, work load management, data transfer, security, system resilience and scalability. Also, the candidate will be responsible for working closely with cross-functional teams across multiple geographical boundaries requiring you to have demonstrated communication and collaboration skills. The candidate will have demonstrated analytical ability, problem understanding/resolution skills, and possesses a keen desire to learn a new product architectures and should be able to think out of the box.

Required Skills:
Demonstrated knowledge or experience working with Linux operating system (OS) or other Unix operating system as a user and administrator
Demonstrated knowledge or experience designing/coding with scripting languages (Python)
Exhibited exposure to programming with languages like Java
Demonstrated knowledge or experience on Relational Database concepts and data warehousing concepts
Demonstrated knowledge or experience working with Structured Query Language (SQL)
Demonstrated knowledge or experience in testing automation, software troubleshooting, debugging and problem resolutions
Proven ability to adapt and refocus in a changing environment.
