IBM Cognos® TM1® is an enterprise planning software platform that supports the full enterprise planning cycle, from target setting and budgeting to reporting, score carding, analysis and forecasting. Available as an on-premise or on-cloud solution, Cognos TM1 enables customers to collaborate on plans, budgets and forecasts. With TM1 customers can analyze data and monitor performance metrics to align resources and initiatives with corporate objectives and market events.

The TM1 DevOps Engineering Support team, part of IBM Analytic Solutions, is looking for a TM1 DevOps candidate to join our team and assist in developing and supporting the TM1 on cloud offering.

The candidate must possess proven analytical, organizational, problem solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with software developers, project managers and system administrators to install, monitor and configure TM1 software deployments
Create scalable, automated processes to configure TM1 and the operating systems for production, staging and development
Communicate with other DevOps engineers in iteration planning and scrum meetings

Required:
· Minimum of 3 year college diploma / degree in computer science or technical field
· At least 3 years experience in Software Development, QC or Customer Support.
· Proven analytical, debugging and problem solving skills
· Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
· Ability to code and script
· Experience with systems and IT operations
· Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
· Proven use and understanding of automation tools
· Data management skills
· A proven focus on business outcomes
· Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
Preferred:
· At least 3 years experience in Cognos product knowledge and experience with Cognos TM1
· Ability to work under pressure with both internal and external customers
· Self motivated with a desire for on-going learning
· Unix/Linux system administration basics
· Technical knowledge and practical experience with IIS, Apache or other web servers
· Solid understanding and practical experience with Web Architecture and technologies
· Understanding of Application Servers (IBM WebSphere, BEA WebLogic, Oracle Application Server)
· Database administration basics (SQL Server, DB2, Oracle)
· Programming experience considered an asset
