Introduction
IBM Container Licensing team is looking for Software Developer. You will become the member of Development Team of IBM Foundation Services which are the core parts of flagship IBM products - Cloud Paks and Certified Containers. Creating platform services functions requires best in class development skills, practices and high focus on quality. As the team member you will develop knowledge of varoius conteinarized environments, modern cloud solutions, taking care of unit and integration level validation.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As Software Developer you will:
- developing new product features
- proposing proper test approach and designing test cases
- execute tests on various levels - from component to system and integration tests
- working with developers on best practices and addressing weak areas
- improve test effectiveness with new testing methodologies and frameworks
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* Working experience with Java
* Good knowledge of Linux and Windows
* Knowledge of SQL
* Knowledge of shell and batch scripts
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
*Advanced skills in Java,
*Ruby and Ruby on Rails knowledge
*Knowledge of Cucumber, Selenium or JMeter frameworks
* Experience with other operating systems (Solaris, HP-UX, AIX)
* Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V, PowerVM, etc.)
* Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
