Your Role and Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a talented software developer with to join our CPD development team. As a backend Software Developer, you will be responsible for working in a fast paced and dynamic setting delivering Planning Analytics software to Cloud Pak for Data.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related area of study.
· Strong understanding of OOP, Data Structures and Algorithms.
· Professional experience in software development using functional and/or object-oriented programming.
· Strong understanding and demonstrated experience in delivering container based software applications using Docker, Ansible/Helm, RHOS.
· Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Travis, etc.
· Experience in Javascript, Node.js
· Experience with Github and Jira.
· Experience with Agile methodologies and SCRUM.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
· Experience with Docker, RedHat OpenShift and CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Travis, etc.
· Good debugging skills and trouble-shooting.
· Familiarity with Git and Jira
· Experience in one or more of the following: JavaScript, Node.js, Intern or Selenium
· Demonstrated ability to operate within short release cycles.
