Job description


·  Manages the role of the dealmaker: Experienced sales professional responsible for structuring and negotiating large enterprise wide software deals.
·  Ability to qualify and structure creative and compelling software deals that achieve customer objectives and optimize IBM software revenue.
·  Adept at reading a competitive situation, identifying impending events, recommending and executing a winning strategy that delivers customer value and drives to a specific close date.
·  Establish credibility with the local deal team in order to develop a strong pipeline of opportunities and keep multiple deals moving ahead concurrently.
·  Ability to effectively work the internal IBM Matrix: Pricing, Accounting, Legal to advance the deal with no adverse impact to IBM revenue recognition or business controls.
·  As the Manager of this team provides HR accountability, reporting, coaching and participates in Cloud & Cognitive senior leadership team.
·  Accountable for the entire large deals number in A/NZ.
