Site Reliability Engineer - RTP, NC
Research Triangle Park, USA Bachelor's Degree Design / Civil engineering / Industrial engineering
Job description
At IBM Global Technology Services, we are the women and men who design, build and run the foundational systems the world relies on. While companies strive to realize the many benefits of cloud computing, they encounter complexity in seamlessly integrating traditional on-premises systems with cloud-based systems in a secure and efficient manner. IBM Global Technology Services (GTS) is expanding its hybrid cloud, Always-On platform.
The SRE is the single point of responsibility between the development and the operational teams that ensures reliable and low latency applications in our continuous and always available Always-On Platform as a Service. The SRE role will focus on the reliability and maintainability of our systems. Our SRE's never want to see the same problem twice. They aim to strike the right balance between reliability and development speed by engineering solutions to operational problems.
