Signing and Backlog Financial Analyst

Your main responsibilities:
·  Coordination of weekly signing process (newly signed IBM contracts) on country level, interlock with all involved parties in order to finalize signings reporting
·  Weekly revenue reporting
·  Reporting and administering Signing and Backlog deficiencies in IBM systems, coordinating activities with customer supporting teams and Operations teams to fix system issues including manual corrections
·  Reporting in line with S&BL internal guidelines and other Europe and Worldwide guidance and related activities including manual modifications to IBM tools and systems
·  Responsible for backlog validations of negative, expired backlog, closed backlog, etc.
·  Preparation for backlog and backlog runout certifications, revalidation plus taking corrective actions in IBM system, support to country CFO and Controllers
·  Support for Waterfall preparation including calculation of revenue from signings and from backlog
·  Ensure regular compliance with KPIs and Business Controls requirements
·  Advise country Controllers on Signings & Backlog questions Technical and Professional Expertise:
·  Good Excel skills
·  Adequate level of communication towards clients during signing recognition and backlog validation/certification process – ability to guide and explain processes in clear way
·  Attention to details and following deadlines is key in this role
·  Proper preparation and planning in advance of peak period
·  Contract Controlling background is advantage
·  Ability to apply S&BL guidance's into reality and ensure they are followed
·  Keep yourself updated with latest guidelines changes and communicate them properly to your Clients
·  Master's Degree in Accounting/Finance, Business/Management/Economics
·  Fluent English required, German knowledge is beneficial
·  Team spirit, able to work in a high performing international team, lots of energy and motivation
