Service Solution Workshop Architect

Job description

Introduction
The Service Solutions Workshop Architect is a core IBM IT Architect role. They are responsible for applying Architectural Thinking and Solution Design Methodology during Service Solutions Workshop engagements with IBM Services partners. They will be part of the core squads deployed in the targeted Markets to work with top Gold and Platinum Service partners to develop repeatable solutions and managed services around IBM technology.

The Service Solutions Workshop Architect will be assessed on the adoption of IBM Hybrid Cloud and AI technologies across IBM’s Service Partners. This role will require significant collaboration with IBM Ecosystem Leaders, IBM Brand teams and IBM Research. You will work alongside a highly cohesive, fast paced and outcome oriented global team.

A successful candidate in this role will:
Utilize IBM Solution Design Methodology and Architectural Thinking to assist Partners in selecting and designing services and solutions around IBM technology.
Employ interactive engagement techniques to draw out client concerns, identify pertinent facts, and develop recommendations.
Demonstrate skills to create high level end to end solution architecture, reference architecture and detailed design for the identified solutions
Demonstrate leadership qualities and behaviors in dealing with individuals and multi-functional teams of Partner and IBM Teams

Your Role and Responsibilities

·  Drive the adoption of IBM technologies as part of Services Solution Workshop engagements with assigned partners
·  Accountable for the successful solution design, sizing and configuration of IBM Technology-based solutions and services with assigned Partners
·  Work with the Solutions Offering manager and Lead technical decision analysis to help Partners make the right IBM technology choices around the solution, services and user experience being developed during the workshop
·  Work with the Solutions Offering manager and Bring together business, industry, Partner knowledge and IBM competencies and solution offerings to meet identified needs
·  Team with squad members during the engagement to design and develop MVPs for the solutions or services the Partner is pursuing

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Architecting solutions with IBM HC & AI portfolio (2 yrs)
·  IT Architect experience (5 yrs)
·  Sales (2yrs)
