Your Role and Responsibilities
Support the process integration effort for development of Magnetoresistive Random Access Memory (MRAM) technology in a 300mm industrial research and development facility. The core responsibilities involve ownership of process integration of MRAM devices and associated back-end-of-line semiconductor process steps. This integration role requires daily interaction with cross-functional and multi-company working teams that include engineers engaged in all areas of unit process, materials development, device/characterization, and design/layout. The integration engineer works with the integration team to develop process flows and run lots in the fabrication line in collaboration with process engineers and operations specialists. The role also includes working closely with process and device engineers to design experiments and improve processes for better yield and device performance.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Demonstrated technical understanding of Cu backend processing, including expertise and understanding of the fundamental principles one or more of these process areas: thin film deposition, photolithography, reactive ion etching, chemical mechanical polishing, metallization, wets, and anneals.
·  Demonstrated track record of working effectively with individuals, within cross-functional teams, and across organizations to meet challenging goals and milestones in an emerging area of microelectronics.
·  M.S. in Science or Engineering.
·  Two years’ experience in semiconductor process integration engineering.
·  Fluent in English.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Familiarity with MRAM materials, devices and processing.
·  Ph.D. in Science or Engineering.
·  5 years’ experience in process integration engineering.
·  Strong presentation and technical writing skills.
·  Background in MRAM process and integration development.
