Introduction
A Technology Sales Engineer role (what we internally call a, 'Brand Technical Specialist') within IBM Security means providing industry-leading solutions to help our clients face into the challenges of cloud security, advanced threats, compliance and privacy, and mobile and remote security. Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Brand Technical Specialist, you'll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM's industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.

·  Security Strategy Crafting: Crafting client strategies for security infrastructure, applications, and management.
·  Enhanced Security Solutions: Detailing IBM Security solutions to improve existing technology stacks.
·  Effective Communication: Simplifying complex technical topics for client understanding.
·  Trust-Building for Cloud Deals: Building credibility and trust at all levels to successfully close complex Cloud technology deals.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Experience of successfully working collaboratively to translate business goals into technical solutions and advising teams on optimal technology strategies to achieve business results.
·  Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and a proven record of influencing consensus across diverse groups of senior stakeholders within enterprises.
·  Cybersecurity subject matter expert.
·  Experience on threat management, threat intelligent solutions and digital trust as presales in a vendor or as a technical user/responsible.
·  Enthusiastic and motivated to solve security customer challenges.
·  Technical skills and experience on cloud security and container platforms.
·  Programming foundations.
·  Technical ability to deliver proof points thru hands-on demos and technical proof of concepts.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Depth and breadth of knowledge regarding the Security market in order to consult and advise, and quickly grow your reputation as your clients' credible, trusted advisor. (Training on IBM's security offerings is provided).
·  Experience on IBM Security solutions (eg. IBM QRadar, IBM Resilient, IBM Cloud Pak for Security, IBM Guardium)
·  Security Market Mastery: Expertise in the Security market to consult, advise, and rapidly establish your reputation as a trusted client advisor (training on IBM's Security offerings provided).
