Your Role and Responsibilities
As an IBM Garage Security Practitioner within our Ecosystem Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in co-developing and selling cutting-edge security solutions in a Hybrid cloud environment, collaborating closely with GSIs and Partners. Your primary focus will be on leveraging IBM Garage practices to drive innovation and deliver high-impact security solutions. Key responsibilities include:
·  Solution Development:
·  Collaborate with GSIs and Partners to ideate, design, and implement innovative security solutions aligned with client requirements.
·  Utilize IBM Garage practices to facilitate rapid prototyping, testing, and iteration to ensure the development of robust and effective security solutions.
·  Hybrid Cloud Expertise:
·  Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of security practices in a Hybrid cloud environment, ensuring solutions meet the highest standards of security and compliance.
·  Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures seamlessly into Hybrid cloud architectures.
·  Client Engagement:
·  Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through the implementation of security solutions and providing expert insights into IBM Garage best practices.
·  Conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance client understanding of security solutions developed through IBM Garage methodologies.
·  Collaborative Project Involvement:
·  Work in tandem with Project Managers to ensure seamless integration of security practices into project workflows.
·  Collaborate with project teams to align security objectives with overall project goals.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Educational Background:
·  Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
·  Technical Proficiency:
·  In-depth knowledge of IBM Garage practices with a focus on security solution development.
·  Hands-on experience with Hybrid cloud security technologies and tools.
·  Project Management:
·  Basic understanding of project management principles, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams.
·  Communication Skills:
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
·  Collaboration and Teamwork:
·  Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
·  Problem-solving and Analytical Thinking:
·  Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically to solve complex security challenges.
