Security Strategy, Risk & Compliance Consultant
Are you a security guru who loves a challenge? We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Security Strategy, Risk & Compliance Consultant for our North America Security Services Practice. Your Role
The Security Strategy, Risk & Compliance Consultant is an experienced security professional with demonstrated consulting experience who is able to deliver strategic security advisory services and conduct comprehensive information security assessments for key IBM clients. Candidates must be located within commuting distance to Sacramento, CA.
Your Abilities and Skills
In this role you will be required to update procedures to ensure documentation is aligned to standards and compliance requirements. You will have overall coordination of compliance program including but not limited to managing security documentation and risk reporting.
In addition, your responsibilities will include:

· Security Control Reviews (assist)
· Security Policy (assist)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· At least 3 years of experience in information security consulting (professional services consulting for end clients)
· At least 3 years of experience interfacing at multiple levels of client management and building relationships
· At least 1 year of experience supervising/managing and leading teams to success
· At least 1 year of experience managing complex projects and using project management skills
· Must demonstrate a clear understanding of relevant regulatory compliance requirements, with knowledge in HIPAA Privacy Regulation
· Prior experience in healthcare or other highly regulated environment.
· Proficient in MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel
· Readiness to travel 50% annually, depending on client requirements.
