You will have opportunity to involve in any of these specialties:
·  Backend & Cloud-Based Development : Design and code servers, SaaS, and databases that are reusable, scalable and meet critical architecture goals. Create REST APIs that are clean, well-documented, and easy to use. Design and implement large scale systems and Service Oriented Architectures that enable continuous delivery.
·  Automation Development & Testing : Enable continuous deployment and availability by developing automated frameworks, processes and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements. Build and manage testing environments, assisting in debugging application issues.
·  Front End & UX Development: Create high-quality web containing rich content and user interface components by working closely with UX designers to take mock-ups from conception to implementation. Provide a delightful user experience design along with high performance, security, quality, and stability.
·  Client-facing Advocacy & Support: Own the customer experience by working directly with the customer to understand and troubleshoot issues, collect data, elicit detailed requirements, then design and implement innovative solutions. Produce product enablement materials and opportunity to participate in conferences globally.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

We are seeking early professional Software Engineer (0 to 3 years of working experience) to join IBM Singapore Software Lab.
·  Strong background in computer science.
·  Highly motivated and have a passion for creating and supporting great products.
·  Thrive on collaboration, working side by side with people of all backgrounds and disciplines, and you have very strong verbal and written communication skills.
·  Great at solving problems, debugging, troubleshooting, designing and implementing solutions to complex technical issues.
·  Understanding of software development and programming in a language such as Java, Javascript, C, C++, or Python.
·  Interest in or understand of cloud-native application, micro services development.
·  Interest in or understand of application security and cognitive computing.
·  Most importantly - you are a learner, curious and creative by nature, you want your voice to be heard and passionate for technology to want to make a difference in your career!
