Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Digital Technical Specialist aligned to Security brands, you'll be a collaborative technical expert and trusted advisor working with and across your clients, IBM's broader sales teams, and Business Partners. You'll understand clients' business and technical requirements within the current competitive landscape and, combining this with your knowledge of IBM's product suite, you'll present value-driving solutions that compel clients to invest in us.

· Continuously expands technical and competitive knowledge in one or more brand products and the application of modern IT architectures. (IBM Security)
· Understands client needs and can proactively influence client’s decisions and improve depth and breadth of customer technical capabilities.
· Influences the clients’ technology strategy and recommends solutions that bring maximum value of IBM products.
· Leverages technical activities and accelerators to progress opportunities through hands-on selling.
· Collaborates with other digital sales specialties to increase digital sales technical credibility at scale.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· Experience in related roles (between 1- 3 years) which involves Security Technology
· Experience in Threat management, Data Security and Identity management
· Experience with technology solutions and technical skills in the assigned specialty products
· Analytical skills with proven examples of using data to influence, make business decisions and drive commercial outcomes
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
· Deep and broad knowledge of the Security market, enabling you to consult and advise clients effectively and establish yourself as a credible, trusted advisor.
