Your Role and Responsibilities
The SAP Middleware Technical Administrator prepares and executes middleware application patching, upgrades, and tuning activities. In addition, they troubleshoot and resolve middleware incident tickets, perform analysis on system operation issues, and make remediation recommendations. They also document application/system processes and procedures as well as monitor application/system performance and logs.

This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance or higher

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  10 years of IT Admin experience with 2+ years installation/patching/tuning/supporting webMethods Integration Server
·  Experience configuring, installing, and patching middleware applications in a Linux environment
·  Supporting and managing multiple middleware environments (ex. webMethods, MQSeries, Tivoli, and SFTP, etc.)
·  Supporting interface developers and assisting with system connectivity
·  Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in a recognized technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or other discipline related to area of expertise; an Associate's Degree together with 2 years of documented relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's Degree.
·  Must be able to clear a DoD Top Secret clearance
·  Security+ and RHEL Certifications required within 60 days of onboarding

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

·  webMethods API Gateway, API Portal, Command Central and Universal Messaging admin experience
·  Experience designing/configuring webMethods Integration Server in a clustered environment.
·  Experience using wM Deployer to manage/deploy custom package changes across the wM landscape.
·  Enterprise-wide REST and SOAP API hosting/management
·  OAuth2 security configuration and management
·  Knowledge/experience with SAP IDOC’s & RFC
·  Basic Linux scripting
·  SFTP server and client working knowledge
·  Understanding of digital certificates and ciphers
