As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients' business environment and achieve business results.

Your Role and Responsibilities
This position requires experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP FI/CO to automate the management and external reporting of general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management; Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order, Cost Allocation; manage posting periods and period end closing; and enable open and integrated data flow between financial account and the other components of the SAP system. Modules included but not limited to: FI, CO, AM.

This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance or higher

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  10 or more years of SAP FI/CO experience.
·  Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience in one or more of the functional module(s): Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Asset Management (AM)
·  Applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments
·  S/4 Hana experience with multiple full life cycle implementations.
·  Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) surrounding requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, documentation, test (unit, functional, integration, regression, stress, and user acceptance), implementation, and post production support of standard and custom business solutions
·  Must be able to clear a DoD clearance, Must not have dual citizenship

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Knowledge of and experience with DoD and specifically Navy ERP
·  Experience in post go-live production support and break/fix
·  Previous experience leading large teams of functional or technical personnel.
