A world of knowledge
During the 2-year development program, we provide extraordinary sales, technology and industry solution training through a combination of classroom training and online resources as well as hands-on field experience, phone sales and structured support.
We will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to make an immediate impact and achieve individual growth. Don't hesitate if you already have practical sales experience – we will make sure to leverage your experience.
Once you have completed our IBM Global Sales School, you will have developed the skills needed to grow revenue by delivering differentiated client experiences.
Lay the foundation for success
You will help clients in all markets grow their businesses by solving strategic and tactical business problems using IBM solutions, such as AI and our cloud platform. While we trust you to contribute from day one, you will also have access to the entire organization to develop creative ideas that help clients build the world they envision.
Throughout your 2-year development program, you will learn to:
Identify potential new buyers and solution opportunities within the client organization, using IBM tools and other social business resources
Negotiate and close deals by exploring, building and delivering client value propositions
Develop and execute long-term consultative sales strategies to grow current clients and generate new business opportunities
Engage clients to develop trust and credibility
Develop sales cases and prospects in collaboration with our business partners
Apply your business perspective to the world of IT solutions
To become a sales graduate IBMer, you will need a bachelor's or master's degree within sales, IT, management, business or another business-related field. Moreover, we are looking for people who have a challenger mentality. To us, that means a real passion for client success, sales achievement and daily collaboration with clients and other IBM teammates.
If you have that, you can work with solutions for communication, retail, media distribution or financial services. Or maybe you want to focus on our industrial and public markets across solutions?
You can also dig even deeper into our technology and work with analytics, customer engagement or even cloud, Internet of Things, security, server and storage hardware and IT-infrastructure.
