Job description
We are recruiting for Sales Specialist roles located at our Digital Sales Centre in Dublin for our IBM Subscription and Support Division(S&S) Digital Sales Team. These roles will use the infrastructure in IBM to ensure contract renewal and Subscription and Support up-sell to a defined client base in France, using the web, phone and social media.
As the role is based in Dublin, Republic of Ireland you must have eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland, either through EU or EEA citizenship or a valid and relevant working permit
Responsibilities:
· You will be expected to grow IBM's software market share through on-going Account Management of an assigned France market territory, ensuring the timely renewal of Subscription and Support Maintenance Contracts for a designated installed customer base
· Ensure timely follow up and progression of new sales prospects, which will come to you in the form of either inbound leads, client requests and through your own opportunity identification
· End to End ownership & management of all the phases of the renewal sales process from providing correct quotes, validating entitlements to ensuring that fulfilment is completed in a timely and customer centric way
· Follow business procedures in order to process sales orders and comply with Revenue Recognition Policy
· Plan a strategic relationship with your clients and build effective and productive business relationships with key decision makers within the client organisation
· Build and maintain a robust business execution plan for your assigned sales territory including weekly, monthly and quarterly sales forecasting
· Plan and conduct negotiations with clients to drive lasting agreements and commitments and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained
· Co-ordinate and collaborate with IBM's strategic Business Partners and or extended IBM sales teams on your sales territory
· You will be expected to fully utilise multi-channel customer touch points (web, phone, social media etc) to achieve targets and drive customer satisfaction
· Manage and maintain accurate leads, opportunities and account information within IBM's CRM and Renewal Tracking Systems
· Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly targets
· Support in-team projects or focus areas which may be assigned by management designed to improve overall client experience or team performance
· You will be expected to focus on your professional development and complete all corporate training requirements to ensure our value proposition is effectively communicated to our clients and you develop your skills.
Requirements:
· You must have relevant experience and or qualifications in the IT industry, preferably software sales
· 2+years of a proven sales track record in technology sales
· Excellent sales pipeline process, forecasting and management skills and be able demonstrate these skills
· Excellent communication/presentation skills; this is the core requirement to be able to successfully close a deal
· Negotiation Skills and focus on ensuring customer satisfaction
· High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment, so that you will have the ability to work in a fast moving and challenging environment
· Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems
· You must have native or near native level of French as well as an extensive cultural awareness of French Clients
· In addition to French, the common language in use in IBM is English so “Business English” is a core requirement. In general, given that we service multiple language groups onsite, fluency in many languages is a definite plus
