Support IBM SOC1 audit engagements and client facing audit engagements including third party audits by interfacing with client, account teams, delivery teams and external audit firms. Responsibilities include engagement planning and preparation, audit readiness assessment & internal approvals, facilitation of audit data requests, clear verbal and written communication and negotiation with external audit firms. When not actively engaged in audit, additional responsibilities may include cross-departmental assistance with account readiness assessment, eligibility evaluation, critical issue resolution and remediation tracking. Key deliverables include internal readiness assessments for SOC1 reports, and actual SOC1 reports (results) which are shared with IBM's customers and may become part of public record. audit focals primarily apply their skills in an external customer billable services and implementation environment.

Prefer candidates with technical skills in one or more platforms, general experience executing IBM S&RM processes, and an internal or external security or risk management certification.

This position requires security clearance and Canadian citizenship.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Bachelors in Finance/Accounting/IT or equivalent
2 years experience in perform Security Delivery Services (5 years preferred),
Lead Execution of Audit Management Activities 1 year required (3 years preferred),
Client facing experience a plus
External SOC reviews (basic knowledge), Leadership, Testing / Auditing,
Compliance Management, Knowledge of Global Processes, Written / Verbal Communication, Project Management, Data Management & Analytics, MS Excel Expert, Prefer certification in CRISC, CISA or CISSP, Experience on an IBM testing team preferred (KCO, TTCR, Corporate, BCR),
Experience working with executives/mission critical projects, Experience coordinating a project across countries/regions, technical skills in one or more platforms, IPC, IAM, Health Check, Patch, PSM, Job Scheduling & Issue Mgmt
