Job description
IBM is currently looking to fill a Research Summer Intern position in Albany, NY. The intern will participate in the development of new processes for the fabrication of advanced semiconductor devices. The intern will assist in the planning and execution of experiments to develop and optimize new processes for device fabrication. Data will be collected on silicon test wafers in a 300mm facility. Experiments will focus on process development for new materials for semiconductor devices and new device architectures. The intern will also participate in engineering meetings for reporting of data and discussion of interactions between process and device performance.
Qualified applicants must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited University. A basic knowledge of chemistry, physics and mathematics is also required.
