Job description

IBM is seeking a Summer Intern to work at its T. J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, NY.

You will work in the area of circuits and systems for datacom. More specifically, we are looking for candidates with research interests in the areas of digital and analog/mixed-signal circuit design and implementation in: deep-submicron CMOS (Complementary metal–oxide–semiconductor); or Bipolar technologies such as high speed I/Os for wireline links and related building blocks; or low-power ICs and energy-efficient DSP (Digital Signal Processing). Knowledge of Cadence design tools, programming language such as C/C++, Matlab, and experience in programming commercial micro-controllers or System-on-Chips (SoCs) are a plus.

Candidates pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering are preferred.
