Your Role and Responsibilities
The candidate is expected to have experience in designing and modeling qubit devices aimed at improving error rates, as well as characterizing said devices. Deep familiarity of qubit physics is required and familiarity with fabrication and processing is beneficial. Results are expected to be effectively communicated to the broader team and well-documented for future reference. Strong team working skills are required and bring together various domain expert for the components to function in a large system.

Export control requirements must be met for this position prior to hire.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Masters in Physics or related field
·  Qubit physics modelling and measurement
·  Excellent communication skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

·  PhD in physics or related field
·  Superconducting qubit modelling and measurement
·  Demonstrated ability to publish in peer reviewed journals
·  Scientific software development
