Our IBM Security Development Lab in Belfast are looking for a technically gifted, dedicated and enthusiastic Software Engineer to join our QRadar Level 3 Development Team. You will work as part of an Agile team debugging customer issues and be able to produce workarounds and hot fixes for the issues as required. You will work very closely with the Core QRadar Development, QA and Support teams as we make every effort to give the best possible Customer Experience by driving product quality.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
BSc, MSc in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience including with QRadar.
Commercial development experience in Java.
Experience with scripting languages (perl, python, bash)
Experience debugging Java applications
Experience with J2EE technologies.
Experience using relational databases e.g. Postgres
Experience with Linux/Unix based operating systems
Experience with Tomcat
Experience using Git.
High Level understanding of Docker
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Fluency in English
