Introduction
As a Project Manager – Team Lead at IBM, you will lead data science and technology development projects to provide new and differentiated data processing and analysis capabilities that solve hard mission problems for our customers. Projects will include not only data pipelines and advanced analytics, but also artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) and Generative AI, as well as Edge processing. Projects often involve maturing and adapting state of the art R&D capabilities to address challenging customer use cases.

Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM is committed to providing National Security leaders with cutting edge data exploitation and analysis capabilities. Seeking a talented, versatile project manager with TS/SCI clearance and full scope polygraph.
The successful candidate:
·  Will lead a distributed team of engineers, researchers, and data scientists in building cutting edge analytic capabilities including data pipeline, data lake, and associated analytic and AI/ML capabilities for US Government customers
·  The PM will lead the overall project, to include leadership of the project team, primary customer and stakeholder interface, and financial management
·  Manages schedule, cost and risk
·  Troubleshoots issues that arise across the project.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Pre-existing, active TS/SCI Security Clearance with FSP polygraph is a non-negotiable requirement
·  At least 2 years demonstrated experience leading small to medium sized projects of moderate or greater complexity, involving multiple customer stakeholders and a distributed, cross-functional team including subcontractors and part-time SMEs
·  At least 2 years demonstrated experience managing or working in IT/Software application development, AI/ML
·  At least 2 years managing classified programs
·  Agile management experience (e.g., as project manager, scrum master, system engineer, etc.)
·  Excellent communications and collaboration skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to work through ambiguous, complex and dynamic situations

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

·  8+ years of Federal Intelligence Community experience
·  Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
·  Advanced Degree
·  At least 1 year classified systems engineering, SW architecture or data science experience
·  At least 2 years demonstrated experience with project financial management and strong stakeholder management and communications skills
