Your Role and Responsibilities
Develop executable plan to migrate client applications from on-prem to Cloud. Techniques involve migration, containerization and modernization approaches. Implement the agreed to plans by coordinating with various stakeholders, resolve impediments and ensure schedule, cost and resources are managed. Responsible for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables. Lead through project management techniques and use
IBM approved methodology (example garage method for cloud, design thinking, agile delivery model, continuous modernization, etc).

The Project Manager should have experience managing application delivery that involves continuous modernization, co-existence architecture, Refactorization of applications, containerization of applications and APIs, Microservices creation, language conversion as well as Database conversion. The Project Manager should have very good understanding of application development concepts such as System of Engagement (SOE), System of
Insight (SOI), System of Integration (SOI), System of Records (SOR). Should be experienced in project delivery in atleast one of the cloud platforms IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, RedHat OpenShhift, Google)

Leaders are expected to spend time with their teams and clients and therefore are generally expected to be in the workplace a minimum of three days a week, subject to business needs.
