Job description
The Regulatory Compliance Project Coordinator uses project management experience, operational and technical skills, knowledge of business process design, and regulatory compliance frameworks to support internal and external goals of Bluemix Infrastructure division of IBM Cloud. The Project Coordinator, as guided by management, will coordinate compliance projects for Trust & Assurance, Security Operations Center, and Internal Audit with support of Security, Regulatory Compliance, and Corporate Business Controls initiatives and related certifications. The Project Coordinator will review security and compliance findings, documents resolution plans and drive these to closure working with functional leaders and subject matter experts. This will also include working in a matrix team reporting to project manager. The Project Coordinator will participate in planning of department initiatives, annual goal setting, and special projects as assigned. The Project Coordinator will assist in the training and mentoring of entry level project coordinators. The initial engagement for the position will be to work with business partners crossing international geographies to implement security, regulatory, and compliance frameworks to an environment in China.
Key Responsibilities
· Ensures delivery to regulatory compliance objectives of Bluemix Infrastructure division in IBM Cloud
· Manage project execution and delivery, maintaining an overall project vision with supporting project plans
· Document project scope, goals, deliverables, and schedule for addressing compliance objectives in collaboration with compliance managers, functional managers and subject matter experts.
· Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
· Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts within the project team
· Assist with addressing project risks, dependencies, and critical path
· Develop and deliver progress reports, issues/ action item logs, proposals, and presentations
· Provides regular status reporting to management and other stakeholders on project health, progress, issues, and risks
· Provides proactive change management in project scope to identify and avoid potential crises, and devise contingency plans
· Conduct project lessons learned and recommend adjustments for continuous improvement in project execution and delivery
· Assist new project coordinators with training and mentoring regarding Bluemix Infrastructure culture and guidance on contacts throughout the organization

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
·
Two to three years of regulatory / compliance audit experience; conducting audits, collecting and validating evidence, familiar with international compliance frameworks
·
Two to three years of Project Management or Project Administration experience in a Technology/IT environment managing complex projects, preferably infrastructure related such as data center build out, network installations, and cloud services deployment, preferred.

Experience with Business Process documentation and requirements gathering
·
Understand and work effectively in a matrixed environment
·
Ability to drive resolution plans, and share status and impacts with key project stakeholders
·
Ability to understand concepts related to identifying and assessing compliance risks
·
Flexibility to conform to shifting priorities through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
·
Exhibit excellent written and oral communications skills
·
Proficient in all MS Office products

3 years of managing regulatory compliance projects in Cloud business with a good understanding of security risks in this business.

Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is preferred
