The IBM Watson Health Government Health and Human Services Product Development Team located at the IBM Dublin Technology Campus has a number of internship opportunities this year across our Product Suite. If you are looking to leverage your education and develop a range of skills and experience to support your future career we welcome your application.
We are actively seeking talented candidates to fill internship opportunities for a period of up to 11 months. This is an excellent program for individuals to increase their experience, skills and make a difference to people's lives. You will work with an experienced, highly motivated and engaged team of people across our Product Development division.
Successful Candidates will have the opportunity to increase their skills in a range of areas:
· Strengthening technical skills in Software Development, Quality, Security, Data Analytics and DevOps
· Developing problem solving techniques
· Increasing product capability and knowledge
· Producing high quality documentation
· Exposure to the Agile development, Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment processes
· Time management skills through contributions to the team project schedule
· Enhancing interpersonal and communication skills
Suitable individuals will be required to have the following previous experience:
· Third level or post-graduate degree in a computer science or engineering related discipline or 1-2 year industry experience
· Experience developing in any of the following: Java, Javascript, CSS, web design, analytics, machine learning or data science, either through college or in a commercial environment
· Experience with automated test development is ideal but not essential
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Good written and oral communication skills
· Strong attention to detail
