Product and Technical Owner

Job description

You will be the key focal for identifying & prioritizing infrastructure needs working with application squads around the globe, You will also ensure that all compliance and patching activities prioritized accordingly. In addition, you will play a key role in moving our applications to IBM's next generation hybrid cloud platform. Responsibilities will include:
* Breaking application squads infrastructure, OS and middleware needs into epics/ stories. Prioritize these epics/ stories (with the chief product owner for our sub-domain) for implementation by our infrastructure squads.
* Working with Infrastructure teams to identify patches and fixpacks and working with technical architects and iteration managers within our sub-domain to get it implemented.
* Work with other architects to evaluate approaches to move applications within our sub-domain into IBM Hybrid cloud. Assist squads in moving applications to the IBM Cloud.
* Investigate devops tools and assist squads to implement them.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Familiarity with cloud technologies (PAAS, IAAS etc.)
·  Familiarity with containers (Dockers, Kubernetes etc.)
·  Familiarity with OS technologies (AIX, Linux and zOS)

About Business Unit

Procurement & Logistics is the sub-domain in the IBM CIO organization that deploys and supports applications for the Procurement and logistics business functions. Our group is organized into 4 tribes split into 44 squads with a portfolio close to 100 applications. We are seeking a product owner and architect in the applications delivery tribe in support the IT infrastructure needs of our subdomain as well as IBM's move to hybrid cloud strategy.
