Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills to create innovative solutions, from requirements through design, into production and product sustainability. You will be able to utilise your experience to connect the physical and digital domains, to help your clients leverage IBM’s unique combination of industry and technology capabilities to operate more efficiently and effectively.
You will work as part of our talented and successful team to drive innovation of enterprise-wide Digital Engineering processes and will contribute to the implementation of solutions and technologies that support this, including Product Lifecycle Management Platforms, Manufacturing Execution Solutions, Digital Twins, and Internet of Things technologies.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
To be successful in this role you will bring:
· Knowledge of the Digital Engineering / Digital Manufacturing domains
· Experience in working with Digital Engineering / Digital Manufacturing and platforms (Such as Teamcenter, 3DEXPERIENCE, Opcenter, Solumina, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure)
· Knowledge of Enterprise architecture frameworks like Zachman or TOGAF.
· Ability to use architectural principles and methodologies.
· Ability to provide leadership and technical direction at all levels in a team to meet challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
· Experience in your chosen sector Automotive, Aerospace & Defence; Environment, Energy & Utilities, Consumer Packaged Goods, Distribution and Public Sectors
· Understanding of the importance of data and its governance, strategy, integrations, and insights that it can supply to a business.
· Ability to build new and maintain existing professional networks and the skills to establish and maintain personal eminence in the market.
