Internship White Plains (Westchester)
Job description
IBM Flight Operations is looking for a fixed or rotary wing pilot to operate our corporate aircraft based in White Plains, NY. We have a round-the-clock worldwide operation that will require extensive travel, including weekends and holidays. This position will report to the Chief Pilot.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have extensive experience as an international qualified Captain. Familiarity with Safety Management Systems, and experience with safety operations as a Captain is required. Additionally, a type rating in a Gulfstream 5/550 and/or Falcon 2000 EX EASy is required.
A candidate must hold an Airline Transport Pilot Airplane certificate with no restrictions as well as possess a FAA (Federal aviation Administration) First Class Medical certificate and a valid US Passport. A candidate is subject to fingerprinting and a background check according to TSA regulations, and must release a copy of his/her FAA Airman Certification Record to IBM.
Please note: Pertaining to 100% travel vis a vis Project Requirements, weekend work is required for this position. We have a round-the-clock worldwide operation that will require extensive travel - this at regular times can include weekends and holidays.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· US ATP Airplane and/or ATP Helicopter
· Experience with Gulfstream 5/550 and/or Falcon EASy and/or Turbine Helicopter
· 3000 hours of total flight time with 1500 hours Fixed Wing and/or 1500 hours Helicopter
· 5 years experience piloting helicopters in the NYC Metro area and/or 5 years experience operating airplanes worldwide
· 5 years experience operating with VIPs/Corporate clients
· Willingness to travel 24/7/365 including weekends and holidays
· Must live within 2 hours drive time from HPN
