Job description
IBM has established a centralised Pension centre in Dublin to support local country pension trusts across Europe with asset management operations and control activities.
The country Pension Analyst role will involve providing support to Pension plans in the execution of investment policy, liquidity requirements and controls framework of their assets.
The Pension fund analyst will also coordinate and monitor the Pension Plan service providers including
· Administrators and Actuaries.
· Investment Managers
· Various advisors such as Auditors & Lawyers
Responsibilities
· Understanding of country retirement fund legal structure and local environment
· Keep abreast of local regulations and legislation changes that might impact the plan.
· Manage the day to day operations of the plan assets – cash management and control, disbursements, monitoring of service providers and reporting to key parties including sponsors and trustees.
· Maintain a framework of appropriate controls over operational running of the Plan, and in particular in relation to delegated activities.
· Facilitate the governance framework of the plan supporting trustee meetings, delegated committee meetings regulatory reporting.
· Appropriate interaction between Company sponsor and Trustees
· Exercise strong control environment in areas of contract management, bank accounts, reconciliations and expense management.

Environment
Knowledge of Banking operations and investment fund structures
Knowledge of Pension Trust operations and reporting requirements
Managing Relationships.
· Maintain and monitor relationships with pension fund administrators, custodians, Legal, Audit, Tax, Consultants and Actuaries.
· Main contact point for pension fund Investment Managers.
· Facilitate key parties including sponsors and trustees.
Problem Solving
· Manage projects (e.g. agree, maintain and review project plans and timelines)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 3-5 years experience.
