General Purpose
The Global Procurement Center within ISSC is a cross-continental and international services organization. IBM's procurement administration used to be processed in 300 different IBM locations in the world, now we do it in only three cities: Sanghai, Bangalore and Budapest and these procurement-support services are available not only for IBM operations but for customers as well. Among tasks are order-processing, supplier-relationship, invoice follow-up, business controls and measurement reporting. A high-level of services is provided by skilled employees, outstanding working conditions and excellent infrastructure.
The primary role of the Supplier Enablement Specialist is to facilitate the enablement process of the suppliers that agreed to join the Ariba system
Main Responsibility Areas
· Work with suppliers that were identified as being good candidates to join the platform
· Provide guidance for email inquiries
· Gather documentation (incl. supplier questionnaire) from suppliers
· Facilitate enablement kickoff and follow up calls with suppliers
· Collect and validate supplier’s remittance information
· Work with technical team to ensure all mapping is done correctly before activating the suppliers in Ariba
· Document enablement related processes, identify gaps in documentation and create job aids, process flows and other training materials needed
· Work with Catalog Enablement and Integration team to align enablement strategy and determine timeline
· Support local initiatives related to continuous improvement
· Support Catalog Enablement team on demand
