Our Onboarding team is focused on delivering a signature experience for our new hires. The Onboarding Success Partner will be responsible to craft a signature experience that is both informative, engaging and ensures a warm welcome & strong start at IBM. This role is an integral part of the HR Talent Acquisition team and works cross-functionally with other areas of Human Resources including Talent Acquisition Partners and Coordinators. The role of Onboarding is integral for preparing the new hire for their IBM career and to ensure that everything is ready for their arrival at IBM on day 1. The goal is to provide candidates with an impactful experience from offer acceptance onwards. Our Onboard Success Partners play an important part to improve the onboarding experience and build a feeling of personalized support as they guide candidates through the onboarding process in an efficient and timely manner. This role will be reporting to the Regional Onboarding Leader and will be part of IBM's Global Onboarding team.
What you'll do:
This position will support the HR team in building the best onboarding experience for every new hire at IBM. The role requires one to be a detail-oriented, get-things-done professional who can think strategically, adapt quickly, and rapidly earn credibility and trust with all levels of the organization.
· Lead and run all day-to-day operations for Onboarding Orientation and other onboarding programs
· First point of contact for new employee and hiring manager from offer accept through onboarding
· Schedule and facilitate Orientation sessions for new hires. Sessions will be held Virtually and occasionally Face to Face
· Welcoming new employees, facilitating paperwork completion and processing, accountability in understanding current IBM business/structure/strategy/news
· Coordinating requests and delivery of all provisioning items by new hire's start date
· Responsible for appropriate follow-up of each required element in the onboarding process within time frames established
· Handle communications and inquiries from new hires
· Audit and review all new hire documents as per the statutory and company requirements
· Ensure employee data collected at onboarding stage reaches HR system(s) in a timely manner
