Network Service Architect

Job description

Join a small team of network engineers who are creating security zone access and flow control services
1) based on next generation firewall technology,
2) required to address regulatory requirements,
3) required to mitigate new threats to IBM assets,
4) which are engineered to be highly automated in all aspects of its operation,
5) which achieve operational efficiencies and availability targets.

These services are consumed by internal IBM organizations. This role requires network and cybersecurity knowledge, IT architecture skills, service creation skills, innovation and creativity.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Deep and broad knowledge of security concepts, practices, security controls, policy,
·  Experience in network architecture principles and practices, network skills and knowledge, network equipment and its configuration with specific knowledge of Firewall, IPS,
·  Experience in creating network services, including documentation of the service design and its operational aspects.
