Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM consulting GIC is operating from 30+ CICs across APAC, EMEA & Americas (LA & NA). For IBM delivery to contracted client business, a global shared reusable network as well as dedicated network (on case-to-case basis) is required to be established, governed, managed & monitored throughout the life-cycle management of the client contracts.

There is an existing IBM managed network of two flavors that are shared in nature, carrying network traffic of 100+ contracts & multiple contract specific dedicated network are also in existence.
IBM Consulting Network Lead role is to manage the client delivery network, ensuring no disruption in client delivery by working closely with other Network Leads across globe, project delivery executives, clients and network service providers.

The responsibilities of the role :
·  Strategize the technology roadmap for assuring secured, available, and compliant client delivery network at optimal price point
·  Global program management of the client delivery network, by adequate & effective liaison with CIC network leads,
·  Issue and escalation management,
·  Effective stake-holder management at IBM internal & IBM external client level.
Key Skills and Experience required:
·  Expert knowledge and experience of IBM Consulting(IBMC) ’s client delivery network platforms and associated variants
·  Deep understanding of IBMC’s client delivery involving delivery centres
·  Working experience of IBM’s global delivery
·  Experienced level of awareness in various process/methods and tools of managing the IBMC’s client delivery network
·  Ability to work collaboratively and productively with globally dispersed teams, both internal and external client
·  Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
·  Self-driven, detail-orientated
·  Ability to manage ambiguity, yet producing tangible results
·  Ability to effectively manage challenging situations without loss of focus when under pressure
