IBM Security Operations Center (SOC) ArcSight ESM Analysts are individual contributors working either on a customer premise or within the IBM GDC SOC. The ArcSight ESM Analysts are responsible for providing IT security services to clients within the IBM Security Services (ISS) Managed Security Services (MSS) organization. As a member of a team, or working independently, perform an analytical and technical role in implementation, integration, and delivery of technical IT security solutions, specifically ESM Solutions, for clients. This includes the use of inter-operational processes and procedures. Deliver high quality technical and/or consulting solutions to clients in response to security requirements. Perform multiple assigned technical tasks including system administration, monitoring, research, and analysis of the security solutions. ESM Analysts have network security product, technology, threat, vulnerability and MSS offering specialized skills. Using IT Security Industry experience, monitor client security systems and events to detect and investigate threats, and work regularly with client teams to enhance current solutions to improve client security posture. This often includes using tools and methods to analyze and customize client solutions. Have enhanced professional, operational, and inter-personal skills to function effectively in collaborative high stakes and high stress situations with clients.

·  CISM Skills & Knowledge expected:
·  Demonstrable experience in ArcSight
·  Knowledge or qualifications in network and systems monitoring
·  Knowledge and experience of IT security best practice, common attack types and detection / prevention methods
·  Strong written and oral communications
·  Detail Oriented
·  Customer Focused Experience Requirements
·  IT Security Field – at least 1 year
·  English: fluent or intermediate
·  ESM / SIEM Technology orientation will be an advantage The work is in mode 7x24 so candidate must be ready to work in such shift model.
