Middleware IT Specialist - 2nd/3rd level support

Job description

Familiarity with Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Services) and/ or Messaging/EAI middleware (IBM WebSphere MQ, JMS infrastructure, ...), TIBCO.

Our team is seeking a motivated Middleware IT Specialist who will be providing complex (2nd/3rd level) services on Middleware layer/infrastructure to our clients (from various sectors - eg. financial, automotive, logistics....).
Main tasks are related to BAU but on top of our daily duties we are working with RFS support such as Microsolution, Installation, Configuration and Migration

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Incident management:​
solving technical incidents in production environment.
Problem management:
incident analysis, root cause analysis, middleware software installation, configuration, administration, tuning and patching.
Change management:
implementation of changes (configuration, deployment, installation, ...).
Participation on the upgrade and patching planning.
Subject matter expertise:
providing expertise for security related threats and vulnerabilities.
Projects:
proposals/design/creation of new production environment for clients;
communication and cooperation with other teams from various
locations

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Familiarity with Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Services)
Tibco
Experience with operating systems (Windows, AIX/UNIX/Linux/HP-UX/Solaris, )
Minimum 2 years of experience in IT industry
Experience with networking and related technologies/protocols/services (TCP/IP, routing, DNS, HTTP/S, SS)
