Job description

Managing Consultant, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US: Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance. Develop software system testing or validation procedures. Consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, and technical issues. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of new system or modification of an existing system. Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements, and resolving customer problems. Prepare reports regarding project specifications, activities, and status. Confer with data processing or project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities of data processing projects. Utilize SAP Business Warehouse (BW) Enterprise Data Warehouse data modeling design, SAP BW HANA data modeling design, SAP HANA modeling Architecture design, SAP Advanced Business Application programming (ABAP), Predictive Analytics, and HANA SQL programming. Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Senior SAP Consultant or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing SAP BW Enterprise Data Warehouse data modeling design, SAP BW HANA data modeling design, SAP HANA modeling Architecture design, SAP ABAP, Predictive Analytics, and HANA SQL programming.
