IBM is leading the way in the Information Security space and our Managed Security Services Delivery team is looking to expand and onboard an IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our Security Operations Center.

Apply your technical know-how to manage and support IT Security hardware & software which houses complex security solutions. You'll support a variety of IT technologies and will be required to ensure currency, health, availability and performance of expertly engineered state-of-the art IT Infrastructure which is a crucial back bone to a Security Operations Center .

Deliverables include deployment and integration activities, device management, event analysis, service-level reporting, risk and contingency planning. Support-related responsibilities include Day to day monitoring, troubleshooting , patch management , access management , health and availability management of Security Operations Infrastructure ( Vmware , Windows server, AD & Citrix ).

Responsibilities :
·  Leverage your In-depth knowledge and proven proficiency in Managing physical and virtual servers, network and storage virtualization in support of Security Operations Center infrastructure backbone.
·  You will use vCenter Servers to monitor virtual machine resource usage.
·  You will deploy, support and manage Virtual Machines and vSphere components.
·  You will be responsible for Administration, configuration and troubleshooting of the aforementioned components.
·  Use Vmware , vSphere , vMotion and VMware vSphere Storage Vmotion to migrate virtual machines.
·  Exercise you knowledge of Windows Server , AD and Citrix platforms to support our current deployment.
·  Provide metrics on overall capacity, health and performance of the aforementioned infrastructure
·  Rely on your strong technical ability to troubleshoot problems in a large enterprise involving complex network application flows between multiple hosts spanning multiple firewalls/security zones and different geographic locations

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  English (Fluent)
·  Canadian Securities “Secret” level Clearance (mandatory).
·  At least 2 years experience managing various Data center technologies such as Virtualization , Virtual Machines , vSphere components , Windows Server AD and Citrix .
·  At least 2 years experience and associated knowledge of Server concepts, Network and storage virtualization.
·  In-depth knowledge and proven proficiency in Managing physical and virtual server instances.
