About BU:
IBM Chief Information Office (CIO) Incentives Services team is working to improve payment and commission module for sellers and sales partners. It provide automated process and tool for setting targets , achievement offer and based on Sellers achievement, it gives automated and generate Plan letter that include Final commission and Payment information.
Our work is all about enabling IBMs strategy by giving IBMers the modern tools they need to do their work, be responsive to our clients, and to act with speed and agility. Our organization plays a key role in IBM's ability to turn vision into reality by making our application hosting environments simpler, more intuitive and more effective for our developers.
Who you are :
As a Mainframe Application Developer you will be working on designing, development, code fix and testing the Mainframe applications.
· You should be comfortable in an agile environment.
· Have demonstrated development support skills, as well as soft skills.
· Able to take charge of distributed multi-geography, ad-hoc teams.
What you'll do :
· Collaborating with clients, team members and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
· Involved in the Business Requirements gathering and client's business process.
· Able to understand Business Requirements, analyze and interact with various user levels.
· Involve in mapping of clients business requirements to the applications to come out with a clear cut picture of out of box functionalities, workarounds and customization.
· Create Low level design documentation from the High level requirement from the business team.
· Create Unit test case, test and document the results.
· Create application programs and jobs.
· Handling Technical issues, Involve in Code reviews, mentoring the team members.
· Involve in deployment build on UAT and Production Environment to maintain to versioning of code.
· Involve in verification and validation activity for the deliverable.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
As a Mainframe developers you should have minimum 3 years relevant work experience in Application Development using below technical skills;
· 3-5 years of experience as a Mainframe Developer in development and maintenance environments.
· Must have Coding experience in PL1 or COBOL, DB2 and JCL.
· Extensive experience in developing batch jobs using JCL.
· Functional knowledge of REST APIs including z/OS Connect EE.
· Responsible for documenting design, changes to databases.
· Participate in daily scrums and work closely with leads and scrum master and product owners to provide status on timely basis.
· Prepare install scripts and code promotion procedure as well as build automation.
· Exposure to designing Physical Data Model, Logical Model and Modeling Techniques.
· Hands on experience on both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
