Your Role and Responsibilities
This position resides in Markham, ON and is a 12-16 month work term commencing in May 2024. It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work-term.
The candidate will work alongside a team of full stack developers working on building automation tools and productivity tools for skills development. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing back end applications using python and java which will interact with front end frameworks to improve the workflow of sales enablement professionals and provide dashboards for tracking seller skills.
The candidate will also be unit testing multiple courses and demos and will learn about current technologies, working to integrate distinct education and enablement systems to ensure migration with these systems is a smooth process for end users.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· Software development experience
· Python development experience
· Java development experience
· Development on Linux and/or Windows platforms
· Must be eligible to work 12-16 months starting in May
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

· Experience with git
· Experience with Javascript, or Node.js
· Experience working with relational databases or noSQL databases
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Registered in a formal co-op/internship program
