Job description

Lead Consultant, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US: Engage with senior leaders across IBM business units to identify and frame strategic issues, conduct fact based analyses, and develop recommendations to achieve business impacts. Analyze complex strategic issues, formulate hypotheses, and test conclusions. Participate in the creation of strategies aimed at bringing about change in a globally integrated enterprise. Develop and analyze use cases. Build forecast models for new markets, develop business projections, and conduct financial analysis and financial modeling. Identify and resolve issues in relation to the project objective and independently generate solutions. Utilize Financial Analysis (financial modeling, forecasting, pareto analysis), Business Risk Analysis (evaluation, Strengths/Weakness/Opportunity/Threat (SWOT) analysis), Client Service Management (needs analysis, stakeholder management, executive communication/presentations, executive summaries/reports), and Hypothesis Development and analytical proofs (develop hypotheses based on data, statistical sampling, multivariate regression analysis). Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Business Administration or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Consultant or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Financial Analysis (financial modeling, forecasting, pareto analysis), Business Risk Analysis (evaluation, SWOT analysis), Client Service Management (needs analysis, stakeholder management, executive communication/presentations, executive summaries/reports), and Hypothesis Development and analytical proofs (develop hypotheses based on data, statistical sampling, multivariate regression analysis).
