*This position resides in London, Ontario and is a 4 month work term commencing September 2018 . It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work term.

We are seeking a student that is driven to succeed in a very fast paced technical and client focused environment. The Junior Network Administrator will be responsible to assist the Network technical team in deployment, technical setup and ongoing maintenance of gateways and firewalls as they relate to Maximo and TRIRIGA systems under contract within the IBM Cloud Delivery Services team. This role will also assist in maintenance of the network by performing network monitoring and performance tuning. Will also assist in basic troubleshooting network issues, working with other team members, clients, teams and/or vendors to resolve. Candidates should be highly motivated, enthusiastic, team players and able to work under minimal supervision. Candidates need to demonstrate analytical problem-solving skills, must be able to collaborate and apply communication skills, all fundamental skills that will have a direct impact on the Cloud Delivery Services team success.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Co-op or internship program enrollment is mandatory
·  Ability to follow Standard Procedures
·  Demonstrated Communication skills (Verbal and written)

·  Email knowledge (preferably Lotus Notes)
·  Experience with CRM software would be an asset
·  Secure network (VLANS, Subnet, VPNs, etc.) by developing network access, monitoring control, evaluation and maintaining documentation
·  Use IBM Control Desk and Salesforce to manage work tickets through the life cycle
·  Provide feedback and update to the rest of the team and clients as required
·  Able to work with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
·  Some knowledge of databases, SQL, DB2, Oracle
·  Windows, Linux knowledge, previous experience would be an asset
·  Familiarity with Vyatta would be an asset
·  Good documentation skills, production and publication of flowcharts, processes and procedures.
