Job description

IBM CIO Productivity Applications Team is looking to add a JIRA Software Administrator to the team driving a centralized CIO JIRA Software Data Center offering. This role will be a critical success factor in the ongoing management of IBM CIO's JIRA Software Data Center instance. It will be the engine that drives application continuity, enables user boarding and migration, and implements cool new features within a strong governance model. This position will work closely with the JIRA Software Infrastructure Operations Lead to monitor and ensure the overall health of the application, develop solutions for integration with other tools, automate manual processes, develop standard data migration routines and extract data for reporting and analytics purposes. The JIRA Admin will work with the JIRA Software Key Stakeholder Council to manage and enforce CIO's JIRA Software Governance Model.

We're looking for an application admin who can not only find problems, but also fix them with finesse and an eye on the future. This role would be a great fit for someone with creative and innovative problem solving skills and a willingness to take responsibility for the day-to-day administration and support of the IBM CIO JSDC instance. The best person for this position is someone who has a collaborative spirit and isn't afraid to say, "I don't know, but I'll find out." We're looking for someone who will ask questions, learn from others, and turn chaos into order. This role comes with growth opportunities as we build Service Reliability Engineering into our IBM CIO Track and Plan stack. The ideal candidate will be someone who is looking for continual growth, can think strategically and perform tactically, and mostly importantly, wants to make a positive difference that ripples through the organization.
