IBM Z Digital Integration Hub(zDIH) development team is responsible for developing a product that creates a flexible, efficient information flow between critical mainframe Systems of Record and Cloud based applications. Our focus is to offer z/OS clients (a) insights based on real time information from Systems of Record for immediate business decisions (b) Improve system efficiency for handling Cloud native applications requests (c) Value for the customers in their modernisation Journey.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a member of core development team, you will be participating in translating customer requirements to product features. Working with Architect in developing prototypes, PoC's and demo to present to customers and Product management.
·  Work closely with Architect in optimising the solution
·  Bring efficiency in the product through Automation.
·  Develop solid design/solution and validate with customer use-cases.
·  System programming with even driven architecture Unique Selling Point: System programming with even driven architecture for Real-time information sharing

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Over 7 - 12 years of development & consulting experience
·  At least 4+ years of hands-on experience in application development based on Java / J2EE, Data and event Driven Architectures
·  Minimum of 2-3 years of experience developing applications with Springboot framework
·  Hands-on experience with REST APIs development and stream processing frameworks like Kafka
·  Working experience with at least two of other languages and frameworks such as C++, Go, Python, node.js, React
·  Hands-on with Git, Maven, and Java IDE Keywords:

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Hands-on experience with in-memory database such as Hazelcast.
·  Familiarity and experience with Automation Frameworks
·  Knowledge of improving application performance, writing and tailoring performance sensitive java applications.
·  Experience in developing Java applications on IBM Z
·  Knowledge of transaction processing, transaction systems like CICS and IMS a huge plus
