Node.js Developer - student internship

Job description

We are looking for a Node.js Developer with wide interest in analytics, cognitive business, micro services and cloud.
You will be a part of talented software team that works on unique application using the latest IBM Cognitive technology.
You will have the opportunity to create solutions using IBM Watson services and IBM Bluemix platform.

Responsibilities
·  Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for systems, delivering high-availability and performance. Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications. The application will be a part of the world-wide core production system providing finance solutions - high quality of the code and self discipline is is the key to success.
·  Recommend system solutions based on the capabilities of IBM Watson and Bluemix services. The product is created from scratch. As a developer you will be part of the design team performing research and making final recommendations. Knowledge about IBM Cognitive technologies is not required, but nice to have.
·  Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle, prepare and produce releases of a software application. The team is following full Agile approach with the assumption to deliver all of the commitments every sprint. Requirements
·  Proven hands-on Software Development experience
·  Experience in Node.js and Java script development
·  Good Object Oriented analysis and design
·  Fluent English
·  Excellent interpersonal skills (communications, self discipline)
·  Passion for user experience design and improving usability.
