Your Role and Responsibilities
As Java Developer Intern you will:
·  Become a part of worldwide IBM Software Development team and contribute to implementation of components and services of a flagship IBM Data & AI solution using innovative and modern technologies
·  Participate in development team activities, stand-ups, iteration planning and demo meetings
·  Participate in full lifecycle of java based components, starting architecture and design through development, QA, deployment and maintenance
·  Proactively communicate challenges and participate in problem solving activities

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Knowledge of Java Standard Edition or JavaScript
·  Outstanding collaboration and communication skills
·  Good command of English

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Understanding of REST APIs
·  Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS and/or React)
·  Understanding of databases and SQL
