The following student position is a part of IBM Canada's EPIC (Employment Pathways to Interns & Co-ops) Student Program. This position is only open to students registered in a Canadian University or College program, who have completed a minimum of 2 years of their degree or diploma program, and who must be returning to full-time study upon the completion of the temporary IBM work term.

*This Student Position resides in Markham, Ontarioand is a 16 (internship) month work term commencing Sept, 2016.

Main Responsibilities for IT Specialist – Application Management Lead include:
·  Review Application compliance audit reports
·  Investigate, track and manage non-compliant issues
·  Prepare monthly/quarterly compliance status reports
·  Reconcile Weekly Application change activity for application audit readiness
·  Perform consolidation of Application Release Documentation for distribution to clients
·  Administer Application Request for Service Process and Project Reporting
The Application Management Lead will work closely with other members of the Application Program Office to administer application development and maintenance processes and ensure audit compliance. For this role, they will be responsible to evaluate reports and process input, perform investigation to understand exposures or actions and document findings or results.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Experience with MS Office or equivalent – Excel, Word, Powerpoint
·  Experience with Lotus Notes
·  Demonstrates verbal and written communications skills
·  Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
·  Co-op or internship program enrollment is mandatory
