Internship @ IBM Mobile Team : Web / Mobile Developer

The Mobile@IBM team is a global team developing mobile applications for the global employee audience. The team is based in Amsterdam and part of a global team with development teams in Brazil, China, and the US. The team is passionate about mobile and enabling our employees to be more effective in their daily work. The team is operating in an Agile environment closely engaging with Product Owners across the globe to generate optimal business value. Team has a clear focus on innovation and providing excellent user experience and satisfaction. Besides this, there is a clear focus to stay up to par on the latest technologies (IoT, AR / VR, etc.) and ways of working (Agile, Growthhacking, NPS).

For one of our projects we have a need to develop a Web Front-End and for that reason are looking for a bright intern to support this effort. This falls within the scope of the project which is a mobile front-end but with linkages to multiple complex back-ends. Integration between the environments is considered a technical challenge requiring research & development.

An intern can learn to expand his / her skills in Web Development, Mobile development, and complex back-end integration. Besides that, learning opportunities around new technology, Cognitive, Machine Learning and potentially IoT. This all in an inspiring and flexible and Agile environment.

Skill requirements:
- looking at expected length and research required a minimum of 5 months internship
- passionate about mobile and web development and capable of delivering in an iterative / Agile way
- capable on developing a Web Front-end according to the latest technologies and development and design practices
- some track-record on Web / Mobile development with innovative concepts
- willing to learn and actively reaching out to stake holders and users to collect feedback
- capable to work in a dynamic Agile environment
